Seven Compelling Truths Found In The Scriptures On Who You Are

Life can be quite challenging!!! And when it gets that way, there is a likelihood that frustration, despair, and anger will creep in. In times like this, we doubt our self-worth and even question our faith. Does this make us less Christians? Are we sinning and coming short of the glory of God? The answer is no. However, the advantage we have over those who are yet to make the proclamation of faith, is that we can anchor our faith and hope on God and His Word. Knowing that no matter the trials and temptations, what God says about us in His Word is all that matters. 

Yet to find out what God says concerning you? Unaware of God’s love and grace towards you? Oblivious of who you are in Christ? Look no further!!!

Today’s post will be highlighting some compelling truths from God’s word about who and whose you are:

  1. You are deeply loved by your Almighty Father (Jeremiah 31:3, John 3:16)

The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore, with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

  1. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms 139:14)

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.

  1. You are chosen (Ephesians 1:4-5, John 15:16)

Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

As I end, remember that no matter the trials or challenges, God is mindful of you and will not let any harm befall you. Whenever in doubt or despair, just open your Bible and be reminded of how He truly sees and feels about you.
