LITTLE BEGINNINGS – PART 1

LITTLE BEGINNINGS – PART 1

I recently had a flashback of a growing Christian (religious in a sense) who said that “I want to have a little beginning”. By this he meant that he wanted to start by working as a laborer, probably carry ponpon ( a local name for concrete), then move to selling biscuits and way through the ladder to become the president… Probably the type of the Goodluck Jonathan story, I presume. This sounds funny though, but there are people of this opinion or maybe not as extreme as this.

Like a lawyer will say, I put it to you that this opinion is not entirely true. The idea of little beginning is relative. Today I will start with CAPACITY BUILDING… Beginnings, in our kingdom, is dependent primarily on your capacity. Ephesians 3:20

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

There is a clause there “according to the power that works in you”. The power there means the capacity you have built in yourself, because the power of God is infinite, so it is the power you have in you that you will exhibit. If you can build your capacity to be faithful in little things like Luke 16:10 said, “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much”, God will trust you with big things. You don’t have to start life by carrying blocks, you just have to be faithful in obeying the word of God and any experience God brings your way, probably like being a floor chaplain in your school and if you are faithful in little, he will make you a blessing to a million congregation… God bless you.
