10 Scriptures To Read When You Are Feeling Sad

The year 2020 has been overwhelming for almost everyone. The world seems to be in a lot of turmoil from Covid-19 to Femicide to Wildfires. In times like this, it is very important that we turn to God’s word as a succor. There is no better time than now to draw strength from God’s word.

The world/news media is filled with so much bad news but the bible is filled with good news. This is the time to remember the promises of God. It is so important for you to fight for your joy because:

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Psalms 17:22

Rest knowing that you are safe in him and loved even in the midst of any life storm that you may be facing – he will turn it around for your good.
